On Domestic Violence and Its Effect In Our Communities

Sabrina Hassan cpSabrina Hassan is the Founder of the BriLife Foundation, The Host of The BriLife Radio Show, Owner & Creative Designer at Earth & Water Jewelry and Founder of her new initiative: The Buy Black Vendor Showcase.

Sabrina has worked many years in the Information Technology and Construction Industries both as Senior Project Managers and Director of Human Resources. Consequently, her first love is Community and promoting Entrepreneurship and Financial Wellness for the Disadvantaged and Disenfranchised. She is a member of the National Association of Female Executives, Professional Women in Construction, NAACP, NCNW and newly appointed Board Member of Pearls for Her. Under Sabrina’s leadership, the BriLife Foundation & BriLife Radio has grown into a Community Advocacy component for Crown Heights, a much needed resource says this survivor of domestic abuse.

The Buy Black Vendors Showcase, which will be held on November 15, 2014 @ Remsen Hall, promises to be a wonderful event. It’s Sabrina’s hope that it provokes peripheral thinking about the importance of Networking, Pooling Resources and having Black Dollars recycle themselves 100-fold in all African American neighborhoods through Business and Commerce.

Sabrina lives in Crown Heights Brooklyn. She is the proud Mother of her 17-year-old son Glenn. She is a Black Belt in Jiu-Jitsu, a Jazz Enthusiast, and participates in Karaoke with her friends twice a month.

Sabrina studied Nursing at Stony Brook University and has certificates in the following: Human Resource Management, PMI Project Management, Construction Project Management, Property Management, and Non-Profit Organizations.
